my path to filmmaking began with stories- more than fifteen years of comics and cinema before i ever picked up a camera, and even then, it was just for fun. what i was really searching for was work i felt connected to- something that would let me be of service to others.
for an early series, "Journal Entries", i turned the lens on everyday people and learned an invaluable lesson: everyone has something worth sharing. helping them share it gave me the fulfillment i'd been looking for.
none of this was planned- and there's nothing quite like finding what you've been looking for in the things you didn't plan for. every project since has taken me one layer deeper, and the best part has always been the people i get to share it with.
so consider this an invitation. i hope you'll come along for the ride.
